Fairy Tale Fiction (Light Purple Label)- Story that may feature characters such as fairies, goblins, elves, trolls, witches, giants, and enchantments. Often involving a "fairy tale ending" (as in an happy ending) or "fairy tale romance," though not all fairy tales end happily.

Shel Silverstein started out as a cartoonist who wrote comics for a military magazine. He later discovered his passion for writing children’s poetry. His poetry is filled with humor, fun and imagination. Shel Silverstein also wrote many screenplays. In Shel’s books you will find Humor, Imagination, poems, have morals, and funny illustrations.
